Billy C. Wells, CFSP
President & CEO
Billy C. Wells began his funeral service career in his hometown of Nacogdoches, Texas. Wells joined Geo. H. Lewis & Sons in 1972 while attending the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service.
In addition to being a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1973, Wells has achieved the designation of Certified Funeral Service Practioner from the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice. Wells served more than 20 years in management before being named as Chief Executive Officer of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons in 1999. In early 2008, Wells was appointed to his current position as President and CEO of the firm.
Wells is a member of The Rotary Club of Houston, Greenway Chapter of Business Network Inc., National Funeral Directors Association, Texas Funeral Directors Association and The Houston Metropolitan Funeral Directors Association.
Bradford A. Wyatt
Vice President
Bradford A. Wyatt, a native Houstonian, joined Geo. H. Lewis & Sons in 2001. Wyatt holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and graduated from the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in 2002.
Prior to becoming a licensed funeral director, Wyatt served as a law enforcement officer for 14 years, completing his service as a state trooper with the Texas Highway Patrol.
Wyatt is a member of the Executives Association of Houston, the Petroleum Club and the National Funeral Directors Association.
Lawrence A. Jasek
Chairman of Board
Lawrence A. Jasek began his career with Geo. H. Lewis & Sons in 1951, the same year he graduated from the Commonwealth College of Mortuary Science, and in May of 2004 received the degree of Doctor of Humane Letters from the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service.
In recognition of 50 years of dedicated service to Geo. H. Lewis & Sons and the families they serve, the chapel at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons was named in Jasek's honor in 2001. A place of peace and tranquility, the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis Sons provides comfort to grieving families as Jasek has for many years.
Jasek is a member of the Executive Association of Houston, the Rotary Club of Houston, the Houston Metropolitan Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association.
Robert A. Jones
Vice Chairman
Robert A. Jones began his career with Geo. H. Lewis & Sons as an intern in 1973. Following his graduation from the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in 1974, Jones joined Geo. H. Lewis & Sons as a funeral director.
In 1987, Jones became General Manager of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, later served as the firm’s president, and currently holds the position of Vice Chairman.
Jones is a member of the Texas Funeral Directors Association and the National Association of Funeral Directors. Additionally, Jones is a member of the Houston Symphony League, The Houston Club and the Petroleum Club of Houston.
